Mary Jones has been a teacher in the South Hancock school system since 1998. After graduating from Purdue University with a B.S. and M.S in Biology and Science Education, she served as a Peace Corp volunteer in Ghana West Africa for two years as a science educator. Her time with Southern Hancock schools yielded experience teaching Biology and physical sciences at NPHS, as well as 8th grade science and Biology an New Palestine Junior High. She is the parent of Southern Hancock students and has been a coach for volleyball, softball, and currently Vex IQ Robotics. Mary was recognized by her peers as co-teacher of year for 2016-2017 school year.
